Description: Eucalyptus grandis, commonly known as Flooded Gum or Rose Gum, is a very tall, fast-growing Australian tree. It features smooth, pale grey to white bark that sheds in strips, revealing cream or yellowish patches. Its leaves are glossy, lance-shaped, and green, and it produces clusters of white flowers followed by small, cup-shaped fruits.

Durability Notes: Some Eucalyptus grandis sold in the world today comes from young plantations. Wood often has properties inferior to the wood in natural forests.
