Dying Curly Maple

30 curly maple sample were dyed with different colors to understand the effect of each color on chatoyance.

Starting point: sanding to 240-grit
Yellow + Epoxy – 17.5 PZC
Orange + Epoxy – 21.1 PZC
Red+ Epoxy – 21.5 PZC
Green + Epoxy – 23.7 PZC
Blue + Epoxy – 25.8 PZC
Black + Epoxy – 26.6 PZC
Black + Red + Epoxy – 20.7 PZC
Black + Yellow + Epoxy – 25.9 PZC
Blue + Orange + Epoxy – 26.8 PZC
Blue + Yellow + Epoxy – 25.7 PZC
Green + Red + Epoxy – 20.6 PZC
Green + Orange + Epoxy – 22.6 PZC
